Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp ground turmeric or 1.5” fresh turmeric root, peeled and chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 cup chopped organic tomatoes (optional)

  • ½ cup chopped onions

  • 2 cups filtered water

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (optional)

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh basil and thyme leaves for garnish


Instructions

  • If using dried roots or herbs, soak them in warm water for 20 minutes.

  • Blend ginger, turmeric, garlic, cumin, black pepper, tomatoes, onions, and water until smooth.
